  2. We started with pencil to draw web and then traced with glue. We then used construction paper crayons to color in, students had to mix to colors next to each other on the color wheel for each section of the web. I stressed pushing hard to get the colors to really stand out. Thne we created a spider out of tinfoil that was hot glued on! I have done this for the past couple years and each year everyone is successful with this one!~

  4. If you use black paper and just regular glue once the glue dries it will look black :)

  6. Yes, construction paper crayons show up much brighter almost looks like chalk expecially when you use black paper :)

  7. Hi, love the idea! Could you use colored chalked or pastels with the glue and get the same effect? Also, where would you found construction paper crayons? Thanks!

  8. I think chalk or pastels would work/just more of a mess :) I order all of my suppleis through sax/school specialty.

  9. What is your secret to making such a shapely spider body? Is there anything under the tin-foil? And how did you attach the legs? I love this project and just tried it with my kinders.
